Aditya Hridaya Stotram

The Aditya Hridaya Stotram is a sacred hymn dedicated to Surya, the Sun God. It is found in the Ramayana and was taught by Agastya to Lord Rama before his final battle with Ravana. At that time, Rama was tired and worried after continuous fighting. Agastya Rishi advised him to worship the Sun God and chant this stotram to gain strength, courage, confidence, and victory.


After chanting the Aditya Hridaya Stotram, Rama regained energy and determination, which helped him defeat Ravana. The stotram teaches that true strength comes not only from physical power but also from faith, positivity, discipline, and inner confidence.


Traditionally, chanting this stotram is believed to remove fear, stress, and negative thoughts while giving mental peace, focus, courage, and positive energy. It is usually chanted during sunrise or before important tasks for motivation and strength.
